Many adhesion failures can be attributed to poor preparation and/or contamination. Elastomer adhesion must be a process by where procedural controls are maintained and followed at all times. We at PMR have improved our ability to prevent this from happening (down to 2% of a production run) by having a control area just for adhesives and primers.
